High-quality research for evidence-based HRM

CLAUDIA ROOMAN

Since August 2019, I pursue my PhD at the Department of Work, Organization and Society of Ghent University (Belgium), as part of the Vocational and Personnel Psychology Lab guided by prof. dr. Eva Derous.

My doctoral project is focusing on determinants of successful return to work after burnout. The project starts from an interdisciplinary perspective, combining personnel psychology with labour economics. Regarding the latter, I also work under the guidance of prof. dr. Stijn Baert.

I am eager to learn, driven and persevering. I seek intellectual challenge and set the bar high for myself. I am most passionate about research on well-being and diversity in the workplace as it allows me to make a difference for others.
